Future inks global deal with CogniVue
Montreal, Canada — Future Electronics and CogniVue Corp. (Gatineau, Canada) have signed an exclusive global sales and distribution agreement. The partnership allows Future to distribute CogniVue’s programmable image cognition processors (ICPs), which enable real-time embedded image and video analytics applications in emerging markets such as automotive smart cameras, internet protocol (IP) video surveillance, and mobile consumer devices.
“Future Electronics is well known for their quality sales, applications and system design engineering teams,” said Simon Morris, president and CEO of CogniVue, in a statement. “Combined with their world class distribution centers and supply chain solutions, Future Electronics is an ideal partner for CogniVue, providing global reach and customer support.”
